Two Mindful Meals - Sitting, Walking - Touching the Earth - 5 Mindfulness Trainings - “Beginning Anew” Ceremony

Your presence is a wonderful gift—the most wonderful of all! We hope You will decide to join us for this nourishing, refreshing, and encouraging time of practice and fellowship. All are welcome. No prior experience or previous attendance is necessary.

All meals are vegetarian (and gluten free whenever possible.)

Half-day attendance is an option, although we do encourage everyone to come for the whole day. If half of the day is truly all You're able to attend, then by all means come for that half of the day. Better that You sit with us as a sangha, even for a short time, then not at all. Your efforts will be seen and understood as noble in every case. Just be sure and coordinate with us regarding timing and meals.

What should i wear?
Similar to all NMC meditation gatherings, we invite You to wear modest, comfortable, non-restrictive clothing suitable for sitting and walking meditation.

What do i need to bring with me?
Please bring a water bottle, a medium sized bowl, a spoon and a cloth napkin. You may bring your own cushion(s) if You wish. However, we have sufficient zafus (round cushions) and zabutans (larger rectangular cushions on which to place the zafus) for everyone. Many of our practitioners also enjoy bringing a shawl.

Is there a cost involved to attend?
The suggested donation for this retreat is $25.
Additional Dahna gifts for the teacher are appreciated, but not expected.
